These shorts are awesome! Super thick fleece and comfy. They are literally 3 times thicker than a Hanes jogger pants. The stitching is very detailed and ornate. I wore the first one out and ordered a second one about a year later. I wear them everyday around the house after the work clothes come off. Whether its firing up some brats on the grill or relaxing in my "garden" with a beer and a pretzel, these shorts are the one to do it in. Get your "gemütlichkeit" on with these. You will like them.

I saw a guy wearing these shorts at a beer run who said he got them from Amazon. I promptly ordered my husband a pair ... while I was standing there. These are great with embroidered detailing, draw string, sweatpants material. Great for any Octoberfest gatherings when you want to look the part without the sweaty leather.

I was impressed with the quality of these shorts. The fabric is thick and the embroidery is done well. Very comfortable too.

Good comfy shorts. Wasn’t sure what size to get. So we bought medium and large. The medium fits a size 32 men’s size person very nicely. He might even consider wearing them all the time he loves them so much

One of our local breweries here in Fort Worth holds an Oktoberfest celebration every year. The day begins with a 5K. When you finish the 5K, you get a commemorate glass and a wristband good for four refills of beer. Then you sit at tables, chat with friends, drink beer, listen to bands, and participate or watch the stein-holding contests. Of course, people are encouraged to dress in traditional (looking) Oktoberfest outfits. But, have you ever tried to run a 5k in lederhosen? They aren't the most comfortable running shorts. However, these shorts are PERFECT for not only running the 5k in comfort, but also for looking like a real German at the same time! The fabric is nice and thick, the length is just above the knees, there is a string to tighten them around your waist, and there are functional pockets large enough to carry an iPhone,

So it looks like I've owned these nearly a year now! I Absolutely love them. I easily wear them weekly, and around this Oktoberfest time of year, more often then that! (Which is why I'm here looking to buy more.) I bought them in Grey and Brown, as well as their longer sweatpant "bundhosen" style.I bought the Large, and the XL because I wasn't sure, but I typically wear a 36" pant size, and the large fits perfectly with room to stretch. (Thank goodness for the tie-string in these, otherwise the XL ones would be ankle-hosen on me!)For reference I also have 2 pairs of "proper" leather lederhosen, and one pair of leather bundhosen... and all of the other associated Tracht pieces. And while I really enjoy wearing them, it can still be Sunny & 95-100 degrees (F) here in Texas during Oktoberfest celebrations! Just take my word for it - leather with that much heat just don't play well together, and no matter how much bier you drink, it's hard to stay cool. These have alleviated that a little (And just look great if you're going to a more low-key Oktoberfest party, where full Tracht would be overkill.) I've even paired them with a kitschy lederhosen-print t-shirt for laughs, or clip-on suspenders to great effect. But beside Oktoberfest, I really do enjoy wearing these year round, they are comfy as heck, and I just love the style. And after a year of very frequent use, they've held up to being worn to the gym, and standard "guy" style washing-machine habits (Just toss it all in, unsorted, and hope for the best. Heh.) The color is still vibrant, none of the embroidery has pulled, and all of the buttons are still attached!Honestly, if I could wear a pair of these daily, I would strongly consider it. (Not sure my wife would let me get away with it though.)If I had to come up with one downside though? I suppose it is that these just don't give you that nice crisp clap sound during Schuhplattler that the leather ones do. It's a bit more muffled.

They are athletic shorts that look like lederhosen. I love the embroidery design, the cotton/polyester fabric, and the thickness of the shorts. Only little thing, I wish there wasn't a little pocket on the side or at least it didn't have embroidery on it, if they decide to make more colors, a tan/lighter brown and also beige and an option to not have that little pocket on the side or have the little pocket but no embroidery on it, I'll buy them. I just think it would look better without it, but that's being picky. Overall satisfied with the purchase, and if more colors are made I'll definitely buy again.

Fit a bit small. Style is fun, and people know right away what they are. Love the little side pocket detail, but I wish that there was some embroidery around the back to really complete the look.
