I use these towels to clean up the engine bay. They work great for that and they keep my regular detailing towels safe. The color of the towels also helps me categorize the towels purpose, so I know the grey towels are for the dirtier cleanings. They also clean up well with the same care I use with my other towels (microfiber towel soap).

I was surprised at how good these little towels are. "Shop towels" are typically very coarse not always very absorbent. But these towels are both soft and absorbent. I love the size, 16"x16", which makes them perfect for household chores. BUT, they are very thin, and I would NOT use them for auto polishing. (And I don't think they're really intended for that.) But I do like them very much for drying dishes and wiping up spills, or general household cleaning. They can save LOTS of paper towels, and they're sturdy enough to last a very long time. If you want auto polishing towels, check out Adam's very thick, borderless microfiber towels which are wonderful. Adam's makes very good products, and I'm more than pleased with these little towels....for the right purposes.

Great towels for a variety of uses! They're tough enough to clean the dirt and road grime out of the engine bay of my truck, but gentle enough I'll also use them for detailing interior plastics/vinyl, and they work really well on glass.I would advise against using them on painted surfaces, window tint, or shiny plastic surfaces like gauge clusters or touch screens as the towels are fairly thin and designed more for cleaning and scrubbing and could potentially scratch those delicate surfaces. There are better, softer options out there for these items.Cleanup is easy, I just threw the towels in the washer with a little no-dye, no-fragrance detergent and they came out like new, didn't notice any strings or deterioration. Just follow the care instructions and you'll be fine.

I have been a long time buyer of Adam’s Polishes products. They are such an amazing US-based company, who is dedicated to making the highest quality products. I have over a dozen of their products. Their detail spray was the only one on the market when we started buying it. We have a show car and thanks to Adam’s products creating such high quality products, the unbelievable shine we got from them, definitely contributed to us winning 1st and 2nd place in shows. These shop towels are no exception to their quality. I have car detailing towels of various sizes of theirs and these are much thinner and don’t have an edge seam. They work fabulous for various uses in our garage and inside our vehicles. They are absorbent, soft and lint-free. I would definitely order them again.Adam’s makes a product called “Microfiber Revitalizer” that is amazing at helping to keep microfibers in new condition. Always wash microfibers with only other microfibers and air dry for the best longevity results. Never use fabric softeners, they create a waterproof film that deems microfibers non-absorbent and useless.I have microfibers that are used for light-duty finishing jobs (shining clean counters, drying dishes, etc.), and ones for deep cleaning that get dirty. I wash the two groups in separate loads, so the ones I use for light duty don’t get contaminated (yes, I’m an anal clean freak!). I use the revitalizer on heavily soiled towels and it cleans them very well.

When I ordered these 16" x 16" towels, I was expecting to get a set of grey "red rags" like you see the mechanics using at your local garage. These towels are a notch above that. They are a nice size for doing just about anything you need them for, not too large and not too small. They are absorbent and soft. They are perfect for cleaning glass and vinyl surfaces in your vehicle. They are not real thin, nor real thick. I would say they are just right for normal cleaning activities. If you spill half a can of motor oil, go for the oil dry, not these! But for everyday cleaning and touch-up, this is a good product. At the price point of just over a dollar each, they are a good value. I plan on washing mine and reusing them as long as they last! At this price though, if I have a really nasty cleanup job, I won't worry about throwing one away.

I have no issues with the towels but they seem to be thin, they clean up fine but dont expect it to absorb twice its volume. If i were to compare them I'd say these are just barely better than dollar trees microfiber towels. it has a slight bit more material on it and picks up a little more. No complaints but meh
