The transom saver was built well, and fit well , simple installation, works as it should. Well worth the money

For the money, this is about as decent quality as you will find for a transom saver. Easy to assemble, nice hardware. Should last a good while.

What I thought I was paying for - something that worked and made of "Carbon Steel". Recommend you look at other products.Used once to support Yamaha 115 that was trailored during trip on the interstate. Followed directions. Brace bent after first bump on first day. Bent again on second day and then lost the lower support piece somewhere on the highway. (see pics)Thought it seemed kinda lightweight when it arrived ...and turned out it was. The main support rods appear to be aluminum (file test) or some soft alloy - but they are definitely not "Carbon Steel" as advertised. Also, the product did not include the rubber cord as described & pictured; had to procure separately.

I have a 14' aluminum v-hull fishing boat with a Mercury 9.9 4-stroke outboard. I would always raise it a little for clearance while transporting, and it always bothered me how it bounces. This has helped! The hardware is a little questionable, but I replaced it all with quality stainless steel.Overall, I would recommend.

Great product, comes with everything you need and more. Parts are included to use roller or to attach the bracket to your trailer. Easy to use and works great!

... went together easily and fit my 25HP 4-stroke perfectly. This even fit the existing bracket on my trailer so didn't have to replace that portion. Little sturdier than the one I am replacing that got damaged so expecting it to last a good, long time.
