Your cart is empty. The Pony 3" Corner and Splicing Clamp makes clamping miter joints and butt joints a breeze. The die-cast aluminum frame and sliding jaws hold workpieces up to three inches wide and leave joints fully exposed for miter correction, doweling, gluing, or nailing. Plated, cold-drawn steel screws with smoothly rolled threads ensure durability and reliability. Two countersunk holes allow you to mount the clamps to benchtops. Available in 90-degree or adjustable-angle variations.

I got 4 of these and used them to make a frame for a 2'x3' blackboard. I didn't realize my miter gage was a little off until I tried to glue up the frame in a set of non-adjustable miter clamps. The miters would not close. I didn't have enough material (solid Maple) to re-make them, so I bought these clamps, adjusted them to close the tiny gaps in the miter joints, and glued up a visually perfect frame. No gaps, no wood filler needed, just a nice miter joint.

It's a bit rough and clunky to use and the first one I bought had a lot of corrosion on it. Amazon sent a replacement so all is well.

Being able to set odd angles is great but the clamps could be a little deeper. Overall very useful.

Made of thinner material than you'd think from the pictures. I certainly wouldn't use it for large projects. I'm not sure how well any of it will hold. Also, the faces which make contact with the wood are neither textured not have a non-marking rubber surface; worst of both worlds there, prone to slipping and still leaving marks on the wood.

You will need a protractor to set angles accurately but these clamps are fantastic for fastening to boards together firmly so they can be nailed, screwed or glued. Am using 2 of them at either end of 12.5" boards and everything is aligning perfectly. Pony is now out of business so these might not continue to be available so if you need t1 or 2 of them, buy them now. The only other adjustable clamps I could find were over $700.

This seems like a useful device for the odd situation. This is not Professional grade, but for how rarely I'll use it, it'll do just fine.

Got two of these to help glue up an octagonal window casing made with birds-mouth joints, which may seem fairly esoteric, but the clamps work well and fill a long-felt need. They are easier to use for partial assembly than a band clamp. You can quickly adjust them to any angle, and they can be fastened (screwed) to a backer to make jigs. They are well-made but not super heavy-duty -- if you need an adjustable clamp to apply even edge-pressure for large glue-ups or for welding something substantial, these aren't for you. However, you can make a similar large jig using a couple of hinged plates and regular clamps.
