Doesn’t fit and was a gift. Will not give credit nor allow a return. Item never installed. Bike was in storage over winter. I am extremely disappointed and angry. Run around run around run around like a top.

This product was nicer than I expected. Installing it was a breeze as it was a perfect fit. It was also cheaper than the Harley brand.

Check the tightness of the screws on a regular basis. Half way in on a 5 hour trip and my backrest fell off. Luckily we had stopped to eat, but no screws to be found.

Ordered this thinking it would fit my Heritage Softail, it doesn’t, might be made for other softail but not this one, also can’t be return, so now I’m stuck with a expensive object.Don’t buy this for 2018 Heritage Softail classic 114..

Installed on a 2024 Heritage Classic - took about 20-25 minutes. On a scale of 1-10 of easy to hard to install - I would say its a about a 2ish. It also adjusts to several positions - at first I had it at a higher position but that slid me up in the seat a bit much - I am 6'4 - so I moved it down and now my pedal access is fine and my back loves me. Hardware is more robust than I expected - TIP - tighten all of the screws (even the screws already in place on the back of the back rest. - you need a hex set for these -and for the screws to attach the back rest to the hardware that comes with the back rest. ) Then, after a couple of rides re-tighten. INSTALLATION: First piece to install is the bracket for the back rest - it will slip over your fender seat screws (the screws that hold your Harley seat) I used a vice grip to tighten my Harley seat knobs and the seat knob of the back rest. Use a cloth around the knobs so as not to chip/scratch them when tightening. SECOND TIP -if the seat back wobbles after you hand tighten it - you don't have the height adjuster groves in the proper place - just move it up or down slightly till the indentations on the seat back hardware are in the correct position. I know this review makes the install sound a little complicated - its not- these are just some fine points I thought might help. The instructions are pictures - Lastly, your passenger seat will go back on the same as if you did not have the back rest added.

Very satisfied with the accessory which is an additional comfort for small but also large journeys. It integrates well with the original upholstery and even with the passenger comfort seat. Nice quality and mostly easy to install even without directions. Biggest problem are the recessed chrome screws are too short for the seat to attach to...not enough length to grab the threads on the tab. Hopefully I can find something at a hardware store.

This is the fourth backrest I have had over the years (4 different bikes). This one is a '22 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic (FLHC) 114. It was easy to install, no installation instructions, but a little common sense and shouldn't be an issue. I have significant issues with my back (T-10 thru S-1) and the over all comfort is great with a good sized pad that pushes forward a bit making it easier to enjoy my ride. I have a Solo Sundowner seat and it fits fine pushing in on the rear portion maybe an inch or two. If there was one thing I would change it would be the ability to fold the backrest forward making it easier to swing my short legs over when getting on and off. It looks nice like it belongs. I will update any changes.

Super fast shipping and a really nice Backrest! Installed perfectly and easily. Fits perfect. I'm very satisfied with the comfort of the cushion, it's contoured to fit your back and angles slightly forward or backwards to fit your back angle. I'm glad I spent a few more dollars for this one instead of the smaller cushion. I highly recommend!!

This rider's rest was easy to fit, aligns with the style of the seat and bike on my 2018 Heritage perfectly and is really comfortable.

fits well and it looks like it was made for the bike, I am 6ft 1, it sits me slightly forward as this is also its highest setting, but it is comfortable and makes you sit with better posture. The way it attaches gives it some rearward adjustment but this also lowers it making it too low for me. some more backwards and up/down adjustment would be good so you can use a seat pad/sheepskin cover. Wife finds it a bit harder to get on the back.good value for money
