Living in Florida where humidity makes 90°F feel like 110°, this fountain saved our swim season! Installed one unit near the deep end and angled it upward – not only did it lower temps by 6°F overnight, but the mist creates instant "cool zones" around the pool edge. Almost returned it when my pool’s weird 1.25" fittings didn’t match… until I found the adapter kit in the box’s bottom compartment! (Seller – highlight this feature!) Now it’s spraying 3ft arches that look pro-installed. Ran it during California’s 110°F weekend – pool stayed at 85°F despite direct sun. Teenagers turned the adjustable arms into a "water obstacle course" game.

This attachment works and makes a nice fun fountain, but I needed to get another converter from my pool store in order to make the connection to the pool jet. I really wish there a few things different about this fountain. The first thing is that you need to be very careful when people are in the pool with this installed. Any kid that pulls or tugs on it can bend or crack the fountain’s pipes or fittings. The weak spot is the connection to the wall so you might have a big big problem with it cracking inside of the spout and having to dig it out. The other thing I would say is needed is some kind of automatic pressure regulator on it. When going through the cycles of cleaning and just regular running you have to manually change the pressure in the water otherwise it looks too weak or is too much pressure. This is really just a novelty, and a fun thing to put in once in a while. It’s not great for integrating into a pool all the time. If you’re ok with that, then I would say it’s for you!!

This didn’t come with the attachment fitting we needed for our 18 foot metal frame Coleman pool. We tried to install it and it just won’t work. You can possible use pipe glue and attach the hose and the fitting is what my husband is going to try and do. But make sure it fits your brand of pool.

I had no problem installing this and look forward to everyone having fun with it this summer. I like that it’s adjustable. It seems to be good quality as it’s working well no matter the adjustment. If we use it as much as the one my brother has then it’s definitely a good value for the price
