My first impression when i received the package and i lifted it was a little shock at the overall weight of this trailer hitch, mainly because it was replacing an aluminum 6" drop hitch with a single ball that got damaged after backing up against a post at a medium speed and that one wasn't nearly as heavy, even though this one is mainly built of aluminum it feels totally different.Unpacking and installing this hitch was pretty easy, it included two locks, one for the trailer connection and one for the truck, the locks feel solid and would deter anybody attempting anything sketchy with it.The build quality of the whole thing is just impressive at this price point. I've seen just receivers without drop/rise for double this amount and the whole thing for around $299, and this one is built like a tank.It includes an anti-rattle U-Bracket. I've never been a fan of those, but it's great that they included it, i didn't install it so i can't comment on it, but feels solid as the rest of the components.Overall this hitch is a great addition. Quality and price are just unbeatable compared to the brand name equivalents.

The Jyoelron adjustable trailer hitch is heavy duty aluminum construction rated at 12,500 lbs GTW. The hitch allows you to adjust the height of the trailer ball 8" up or down and comes with a 2" ball and a2 5/16" ball. The hitch can comes in four models 6" or 8" drop and either a 2 inch receiver or with a 2.5 inch receiver adapter. I got the 8" drop for the 2" receiver only. It also comes with to locking trailer hitch pins.The construction of this hitch is flawless, well machined and looks good. Because of its aluminum construction, it should never get rusty. I have a large variety of trailers that I tow, between the offshore boat, 2 different flats boats, canoe trailer and utility trailer. Up to now, I required three different hitches with different drops to get close to having the trailer in the proper level position. With this hitch, I can quickly and with little effort adjust the ball height to match the trailer I am towing in 1" increments. You can reverse the hitch to have an 8" rise, but its not a feature I will need. Locking the pins in is easy because you can set it to lock, position it on the pin and click it to lock. Getting the key in to unlock the pin from the receiver is a little challenging due to the location of the electrical plug connection on my tow vehicle. You have to hold the spring cover up, out of the way to get the key in and turn it...I wish the locking pins were keyed the same, instead of needing two different keys. Also, I would like to switch the 2 5/16" ball for a 1 78". The Amazon web page indicates other balls are available, but does not elaborate.At the time of this review, Amazon is offering a $30 off coupon on this hitch, making it reasonable for what you get.....

I picked this up needing a lower hitch for a trailer I use regularly (that I will be swapping out all summer with a boat), and am super impressed with the quality, which is maybe not a surprise at this price point but still a great feeling. The hitch is super well made, nice and dense and heavy, and just no worries with it no matter what I plan to pull. Adjusting the ball up and down is a minutes work and you just use the pins (each with their own locking key) to set it where you want it. The 8" drop works great for larger trucks (although it could affect clearance if you have a lower standard size, or non-stiff suspension and weight in the bed). Breakdown and put-away only take a minute too though, so if you are travelling rougher country its only a minute to take it off. Works great for mine and it no longer looks like I am pulling a ramp along behind me. Very nice.

This is a great looking, heavy duty, light weight hitch that I'm going to get a lot of use out of. It's complete with everything you need to slide it into your trucks 2" receiver to start hauling your load. If your truck is "lifted" like mine is, you can set the elevation of you tow ball to level you load. That's a big plus for me as I'm currently using different hitches for my utility trailer and my boat since they're about 8" different in elevation. Now I'll be able to pull both with 1 hitch.Pros:1) Comes complete with everything you need to start hauling.2) It's made from heavy duty aluminum. If this were made of steel it would weight a bunch. As it is, it's heavy but not so heavy that it's a burden to install or make adjustments to.3) It's beautiful! It's all polished aluminum and chrome. It's so nice looking, I almost need to get a new truck to put it in, (I'll be talking to my wife about that possibility 😉 ).4) It's secure. They provide 2 heavy duty chrome pins that have locks on them, One for the hitch receiver connection and one for the sliding ball hitch section. they're keyed so only you have the ability to remove or disassemble your hitch. They provide 2 keys for each hitch pin.Cons:1) It's a small thing but, the hitch pins are both keyed separately. You have to have both keys with you in order to remove and adjust your hitch settings.Overall:As you've probably guessed, I giddy with excitement over this new hitch. It's attractive, bulky and capable, yet not real heavy and, at the asking price, a good value. It's the last hitch you'll ever need.
