one of the few that worked from the outset. others needed priming and then that didn't always work. I highly recommend this pump for diesel or gas.

Works great thanks to the adjustable shaft that adjusts to the depth of tank. Need an adapter hose end however so that the nozzle goes inside the flap on a car gas tank. Good shipping as always with Amazon.

I have fueled my equipment with rotary pumps in the past and have had to prime them each time. This diaphragm pump works great without that hassle. The quality of the pump is very good and at a reasonable price.

This is a fast pump but there is a small leak that results in some fuel dripping out of the bottom of the housing and pooling on the barrel top. Not a problem until you have to move the barrel but then it is a mess.June 12, 2013 Update - the hose requires careful attention, it is a straight connection to a fitting perpendicular to the lift tube after about a year and a half hanging as shown in the picture, the hose cracked and failed. I added a 45 degree fitting to the pump head to take the strain off the replacement hose and I'm careful to coil it on the barrel top to relieve strain.
