Bought this to hold my many 5X8 recipe cards, but was reluctant to buy a plastic one as I have two wooden ones. The plastic ones tend to warp at the latch area, but this one doesn't seem to be heading in that direction. I feel it's quite sturdy and stiff enough at the latch point that it will not warp or indent to keep the lid from closing properly. So far, happy with my purchase.

It's adequate, that's all I can say. If you are not expecting much this will work. It's cheaply made, kind of flimsy but I only need it to hold some recipes. It's a good size, holds 4x6 cards and is slender, it doesn't take up much room, I liked that as well. For around $5.00 I feel it's worth it.

Disappointingly cheap. It's flimsy plastic and as long as you don't use it for anything you can get it to shut. Started putting index cards in, and it won't let lid shut correctly. It's warped and worthless.

Holds more than two packages of cards. Perfect. Wish it came in different colors

This file box is VERY cheaply made. It's flimsy and probably won't last very long with continued use.It comes in a plastic bag and the file box is open within the bag. I had a VERY hard time keeping it closed. I let it sit closed, overnight, and it seems a little bit better today at staying closed. It's still difficult to line up the lid and the bottom to close it properly.I'm really leaning towards returning it.It would be better to spend more to get a better file box that will last a lot longer.

It's a very minimal 3x5 index card file. I bought it to use as a backup password manager. It is time consuming to keep this dual code system but a real gamechanger and time saver when something goes wrong with your password app. *heed Murphy's Law* I have a printer at hand. So, to update a password, I just open a website's 3x5 MS Word password file, change the login credentials, recovery code & anything else pertinent, change the revision date in the file name to the current date, print a copy for my index card file, save the new file in my secure cloud vault and delete the old file. Be sure to delete with a destructive delete app or empty the trash can. Old passwords have power and shouldn't be left in the trash. They can sometimes be used as an identifier to gain account access. The card file has no latch, per se, just a raised plastic catches, lid to body, in front (integral part of the box) that don't hold well. I keep it closed with a thick rubber band to avoid playing 52 Card Pickup every time it gets tipped over (it's lightweight and tips easily). There are no hinges, just a polyethylene strip that join the lid and body (it's all a one piece LDPE extrusion). I expect the (not) hinges to fail inside of a year. I bought some nice Pendaflex colored plastic alphabet index tabs to keep the file organized but found that the card file is too short. There's only enough room for a skoch over 3" in height, so the nice tabs have to lay at a bit of an angle to fit. Considering the price of metal, or more solid plastic card files, this is a good deal. There are cigar boxes that seem practically designed to be 3"x5" and 4"x6" index card files (sorry, I don't recall the brands) but they seem to be in short supply and smoke shops now all seem to want to be paid for their formerly discarded packaging.

Cheap index card holder, PERFECT for my needs - exactly what I was expecting. They are the standard sized little boxes we all remember from school. Simple, black, plastic box to keep cards organized. This little box maybe cheap & maybe plastic but it IS durable; I take mine outside all the time in my garden (I keep my plants' care info on the cards) so I know it has been exposed to rain, sun, wind, dirt, water, & all other weather elements and it looks just like when I bought it 6 months ago! It maybe a little dirtier but bc it's plastic it's very easy to clean off!
