The title says it all. It's not that hard of a battery change. The included screwdrivers are long enough. Actually, they give you more kinds of screwdrivers than you need for this replacement.I'm glad I bought this instead of buying a new version. This speaker totally holds up for what you need. I'm glad I found this old speaker laying around and I'm glad that I didn't throw it away when it stopped charging 5 years ago.

This is a lithium polymer battery, and the original JBL battery is a lithium ion. There is a difference, but I can only find these li-po replacements. It does seem to work well though. I read online that the best thing to do with a li-po replacement battery is charge it fully in the device, then run it until it's dead, then charge it again fully. That's what I did. The original JBL specs say "up to" 5 hours play time, which is probably optimistic, and I'm getting about 4 hours of life out of this battery, so I'm pretty happy that I got it working and didn't have to spend money on a new speaker. I would definitely buy this product again.

Great Value, tools OK/not the best but still helped. Install was easy with the help of Google/YouTube. Was able to bring my original Flip back to rechargeable status. Great sound for a small speaker and very glad I can continue to use it without it having to be plugged in.
