I played it safe and added some extra 3m tape. This wing looks very nice and fit very well. Been through auto car washes and still on solid. Absolutely love it for the price!

I really liked the product itself, but the fitment was off by about a quarter of an inch on one side. I still installed it on the car thinking maybe the VHB tape might get it snug, but no luck. After all it is real carbon fiber and its mot meant to bend.

I waited a few months to see how this would "stick" - man, this spoiler is nicer, bigger, and more attactive than the Tesla OEM little spoiler.The biggest problem w/ these is that the curve of them doesn't always match the curve of the trunk lid, and the ends pop up.Well, that did not happen here - lines up perfectly!TIPS to insure it is installed properly:1) Clean the car area very well, at least 2-3 times2) Line it up BEFORE you take the adhesive cover off, and place paint tape marks on the car horizontally for top & bottom, and vertically for the side ends3) Use an "adhesive promotor", such as this:• https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MVK1PG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=14) Watch this video a few times and kind of "practice", but do NOT take the adhesive cover off until you are sure & ready:• https://www.amazon.com/vdp/d2152781e6b04480b28f44b40020ffcc5) Make sure to use 2 soft adjustable bar clamps to hold both ends down for a few hours to dry completely and adhere, like this:• https://www.amazon.com/TEKTON-6-Inch-Ratchet-Spreader-39180/dp/B000NY4UDQ/ref=sr_1_14?crid=D0SV061Y8XVF&keywords=bar+clamps&qid=1645728956&sprefix=bar+clamps%2Caps%2C221&sr=8-146) Open the moonroof and wll windows, then slowly roll down your street flexin' in your whip, bumpin' ol' skool R&B jams!

It fits my 2022 refreshed Model S even though the description said it is for 2012-2021. Unlike other spoilers I bought, this one does not come with the adhesive pre-installed. It comes with a roll of 3M double side tape which is the same as other spoilers I bought. Other than that, it is super easy to line up the truck deck, mark it with masking tape (included) to make sure accurately placement. Peel off the tape backing and it is done. This item is somewhat more expensive than other. Not sure if it is better. This one is from China and I had bought others made in Taiwan.

I had 3 other spoilers for my Model S over the last many years. I never bought the Tesla brand one. Got some cheaper alternatives. The first one from a name brand online didn't lay flat, had to get it replace and that one didn't lay flat but used it anyway. That got damaged and got a different amazon one and it fit the car well but after two years the surface was so sun faded it looked like garbage. So I ordered this one in gloss and so far it's stood up very well. Install was easy, fit correct. Still looks new after a few months. Hope it lasts.

Fits and looks identical or even superior to OEM to my eye. I just got a rental model S with 100k miles on it while my car was in shop and it’s spoiler was beat up and weathered horribly. Tesla charges 1500 or so for theirs. For 200 bucks this is a steal and great quality. 5 stars easy
