This is a lightweight (it is metal so it is light, not flimsy) headboard and it has proven to be worth the purchase. Easy to assemble (but can be confusing in a couple parts so be patient, take your time and pay attention) and the lights with remote function is fantastic for both mood lighting as well as NOT walking into the bed frame in the darkness in the middle of the night. The USB ports in the headrest are wonderful details as well as the plug outlet for things that need to be plugged in. Looks fantastic behind the bed and is secure - no squeaky, wiggly sounds (but can't tell you what happens if you have more than one person moving around in the bed).I would recommend.

The lighting element is just a cheap led strip. However, we used a Govee strip we had for this instead so it would be seamless with the app control and used the one it came with on a random shelf in another room. Other than that I will say it is indeed a two person job to put together. My husband and I spent about an hour making t (I wasn't even helping at first though). it's sleek and very low profile and it is great for what it's worth.

The instructions are very detailed and easy as long as you align the centerpiece properly. My husband and I had to redo that section. It took about an hour and a half. Adding the lights was challenging but doable. The price is truly a bargain. Perfect headboard for our split king adjustable bed frame.. it says stand alone but it was too wobbly. We attached it to the wall. We are so happy with our purchase.

I love the item but i cant do 5 stars due to all the scratches it arrived with. Was an easy set up and materials are not bad, its the loose packaging knowing it’s heavy items that causes the damages. UPDATE 3/21 charging ports stopped working out of no where. Wasted money im starting to feel

It took me a while to put it all together, but the frame is all metal and the shelves are wood. I like the outlet panel with 3-prong plugs and USB-A outlets. While there are 2 USB outlets, using the included light strip will take up one. It comes with 2 plates for attaching it to a bed, but it doesn't work with my adjustable bed and there isn't anything for securing it to a wall, So it stands unattached and is a bit wobbly due to the small width of the feet.The light strip is much better than I expected as it not only includes a remote, but also an app for your phone to set the color, brightness, and option light patterns. You can also set a timer for when to turn on and off.
