Perfect fit for my 09 Mazda 6. Installation was a breeze once the original head unit was removed. Definitely makes the new unit look like it was made for the car

I had to make alterations to this in order to get a stereo to fit. the little compartment with it was impossible to get both sides to screw into frame. Had to do a lot of Jerry rigging on this. Junk!!

Fits perfectly and trim matches all of the factory trim EXACTLY. This really impressed me as you cannot tell the difference between the factory Mazda trim and this kit. Have received many compliments on how good this makes my android head unit installed in this look, have been told it looks like it was meant to be there.

I bought this to replace a dash kit that i got from Car Toys. The Car Toys kit made the navigation system look obviously aftermarket. After installing this new dash kit the results are awesome! I love the final look and finish. Its as if the navigation system came with the car! See attached picture.

The kit matched my 2011 Mazda 6 well. The silver color is spot on and the black radio trim flows with the dash design better than the solid silver models by other manufacturers. Installation took a little trial and error to get right with a few gripes.First, the kit comes with a single din pocket that locks into two molded side tabs. These tabs must be broken off and sanded smooth if using a double din radio. Second, the side brackets are not very sturdy and would barely be sufficient to support a heavy head unit. Mine was a media receiver only with no CD or DVD options. As a result, it was very light and adequately supported with the brackets. If I were to install a touch screen DVD unit, a rear support pin of some type would be in order. Last, the bottom set of the four push-lock tabs were too large to fit the holes in the dash. I had to use a Dremel tool sanding drum to reduce their size so the factory clips would catch.The instructions were excellent as far as breaking down the dash and removing the old radio. As for assembling the kit, the instructions were less helpful. Have some patience lining up the depth and it should work out well.
