It works fine but the account of water you pour in is the amount of coffee you'll get. So you make that 16oz. Tumbler of coffee it'll be weaker than if you only make 8oz. I also wish you could lock the buttons. Accidently press a button and you can change the time, turn off the automatic brew time or make a cup of coffee right then and there

I use this coffee maker once daily to make 5 cups (2 16 oz mugs) of coffee - nothing too big. I bought the first one and really liked it for about 2 months, but it began to pause during brewing for no apparent reason. I have well water and filtered water in my kitchen, and I assumed someone used well water (high mineral content) which caused the problem. I cleaned it a couple of times with vinegar but nothing helped. Liking the features, I decided to get a new one and start over. I let my daughters know to use only filtered water this time. Even though we used only filtered water, the second one stopped working after about a month of service just like the first one. Once again, cleaning it did not help. I can only attribute it to poor workmanship. We have used other coffee makers here that usually last 3-5 years with no problems despite using well water. Off to find another one that works more than a single month.

It does all it says and makes great coffee. Very easy to program so it's ready when you wake up and only takes a few minutes to brew if you don't use the preset feature. And doesn't take up a lot of countertop space.

I was looking for a smaller coffee pot for our travel trailer since the previous one was pretty big and counter space is limited. I thought that this was a happy medium between a single cup maker and a 12 cup. It fits very nicely on the counter and under the hood of the stove. I had low expectations since it is inexpensive, but was pleasantly surprised. It pours very cleanly. My previous coffee pot often dripped when pouring, especially if I poured quickly. The carafe is designed very well for a drip-free pour. It comes with a reusable filter, so that you don't have to use paper products, or if you run out of filters you have this one. It is cone shaped, which I think works much better if you're just making a few cups of coffee than the flat bottomed ones. The coffee brewed at a faster speed than the Mr. Coffee coffee pot but tastes excellent. The lid securely fastens down, preventing situations like things not being pushed down all the way and the water going into the area where the grinds are but not dripping down into the pot and making a big mess. A not so great feature is that there is a bright blue screen. I threw out the manual thinking I wouldn't need it and now we can't figure out how to set the time. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it over my Mr. Coffee coffee pot.

I purchased this in October 2023 through Amazon. it does work well and gives 8 cups I also like how it has a blue lit LED background so you can actually see the time without having to turn on a light or shine a flashlight to it. a couple of negative points is that the bottom right button that controls the minute began to get sticky and also lose it rebound so it was very touchy when you barely tapped it and it would adjust the time which was annoying. I applied some WD-40 and that did help fix that issue. The other issue I have which is pretty big is that this thing leaks. As you can see in the photo, I have to use small dish towels to keep it from running all over my countertop. At first I attributed this to the fact that I like to fill it all the way to the brim. There is a small hole on the back (I assume for overflow) to which I applied a sealant, so I could actually fill it up. Unfortunately, that was not the issue as it leaks from the bottom somewhere internally. So with that, although I do like the overall functionality, and the fact that it has a backlit LED face, I am going to search for something else. Thank you and hope this helps.
