must always have these on hand, not replacing every month or 2 will cause you to blow your diaphragms and/or the nylon pen/bolt that is designed to break and let you know to replace them. otherwise your purchasing a $300 aerator. takes 5 minutes to replace this filter. make sure your put a new air filter in every 6 months, or sooner depending on your air environment... will aide in keeping the diaphragms from blowing out
