Overall, the AF Dynamic Cold Air Intake is a pretty solid intake. The instructions provided are not the most clear, however there are videos on YouTube that show how to correctly assemble it - I recommend you watch them. One of the heat shield cutouts was not squarely cut and had to be modified to fit, but the rest of them fit. The hose provided to attach to the crankshaft vent hose is a TIGHT FIT. It is so tight that I thought I might have the wrong size hose, but it does fit. I used soap to squeeze it on at least 1 1/2" down the vent hose and then secured it with a zip tie on both ends. However, after install and starting my engine, I was showing a check engine light. P0113 was the code - Air Intake Temperature Sensor 1 High Voltage. After some research I determined it was either the IAT sensor had been damaged, the IAT sensor was installed incorrectly, or the wiring was bad. I I first confirmed the IAT sensor was facing the correct way, which it was. I then visually inspected the wiring to make sure none had pulled out, which it hadn't. So, thinking it may be a bad sensor, I purchased a new IAT sensor and attempted to clear the code but it did not work. Finally, I used my multimeter to check the wiring voltage. I showed 5v at the original wiring connector, however when I plugged in the wire extension provided, it read 0v. (The kit comes with two extension, for different plugs). I unplugged the extension and unwrapped the wiring harness tape back far enough to re-route the old connector to the new sensor location and rewrapped the wires and plugged in the connector. This cleared the code. So, if you get a P0113 code after install, be sure to check the wiring extension. As far as driving, the CAI sounds good, and it was relativity easy to install, minus the electrical troubleshooting.

ALL The hoses are just a tad short. Would be better if they made the main tube hoses at least an inch longer. Makes the truck have a whistle at times(power whistle not bad sounding one) definitely louder up front. For price worth it. No better mileage just sounds better.

Looks amazing. Works as it should, only down fall is the heat shield, reflective tape for the inside of the air box is no good but not one other cold air intake kit comes with it so that’s nicely thought of and with a little adhesive glue it works perfect and will keep the filter from heating up over time which will keep the air colder for longer I’d say, this is a very nice kit for sure
