I've had waffle designed foam and gel-over-foam types of seat curshions that I've used for hard benches, office chairs, and the car because of lower back problems. When I noticed that my leather couch seemed to be causing numbing and walking problems after evenings of reading I decided to try something new. I wanted something that was not going to allow my "behind" to sink down and flatten against the cushion of the couch thereby cutting off-limiting my circulation. this air pocket cushion looked like it should do the job.I had no problems using the corner-pocket air pump, and even though it took about 90 seconds to inflate, I think it's a bonus for those people who may not have as much fine, hand-cordination as they used to. While using this cushion every night this past month, I have noticed a significant difference in how well I'm able to walk after sitting on these air pocket for the first 3 hours. This cushion can be adjusted quite high and maintains its inflation well. (Mine has not lost any air unintentionally since I started using it weeks ago.) Unfortunately, if I'm stationary longer than a few hours while on this cushion, I often find I've developed soreness in the tailbone region upon rising. In fairness, I have adjusted the amount of air in the cusion while seeking pain relief to see if I'd over inflated this cusion device, but it hasn't seemed to matter. My soreness upon long usage of this air-cusion has not been the same in every incidence, and I'm wondering if it depends on the randomness of the position the user ends up in as they sit upon the cushion. For example: if the tailbone just happens to land directly upon one of the inflated square when the user sits, it's going to receive more pressure; however, if the tailbone lands over the open area between the cushion pockets, it will be suspended without the pressure from any air pocket and not become sore after hours of use in that position. I think the second scenario is the best option and wonder if it would be possible for the maker of this product to create a larger open space that would ensure that when sitting on this cushion, the user's tailbone never landed and spent time pressed up against the air pockets.Overall, I like this cushion for couch use, and am going to try to make sure I take breaks every few hours that ensure moving around and re-positioning upon sitting. This cushion can make a difference in having less "restless foot syndrom" and sciatica nerve pain so don't hesitate to give it a try.

Of all of the cushions I've tried recently, this is the most comfortable by far. It has nice valves, is very thick and sturdy, and is so comfortable that I just don't notice it. The seat cushion of my computer chair is too thin and hard, but this makes me forget all about the pain I used to have. I can see this making a big difference to people who sit a lot. It's a good cushion that travels well and is good value. It's easy to inflate and adjust. It has grips on the bottom that keep it in place. It's a good cushion that should last quite a while.

This cushion is quite large (which I think would make it impractical to bring onto an airplane, not a use I contemplated anyway. The description says that it is easy to inflate by hand, without tools. It is true that there are no tools required--there is one square that you push repeatedly to inflate to the desired level. I found that it took a long time, and many pushes on the square to get it where I wanted it. Since I don't plan to deflate and inflate this regularly, I only needed to fo this once, and the cushion gives good support. But I don't think it would be very convenient to use as a travel option, and I think that the description that "inflating your cushion [is] quick and easy. Adjust the firmness to your exact comfort level in seconds" is accurate.

I tried this on a concrete bench and it really helped a lot. It has many air chambers (29) which prevent rolling around on it. Very stable. Wrapped in a towel, this was comfortable for 2 hours. I weigh 178 (small in the butt) and it was large enough for me. I didn’t try the inflation system, which requires pushing the corner square many hundred of times, no kidding. I blew it up by mouth. The recommended 70% inflation took 2 easy breaths. I was able to deflate it and get it into the carry bag with no problem. It’s lightweight for the support it provides. It worked well for me.

I ordered this preparing to travel (fly) after having both my hips replaced in the last 6 months, with the most recent being 8 weeks ago. I need extra cushion. I like the portability and simple design that doesn’t require carrying or worrying about batteries, pumps, special tools, etc. It takes less than a couple of minutes to remove it from the nice drawstring storage bag and manually push the “built in” pump / inflator square (30-40 pumps ). I will probably get more use out of it in my home office desk chair & car seat too now rather than flights on a plane! I weigh just over 200 l s but it says it will support up to 200kg = @ 440lbs. In the storage bag after rolling it up it was about 10” x 6” which takes up a good deal of space in my travel back pack, but it does compress further when crushed,so you can “wring it “ to get it smaller. It appears to be well made with heavy material using quality stitching and the bottom has a non slip texture. The valve to release the pressure is a double safety design: you lift up a locking cap that allows access to a button valve that when pushed and held release the air.

This air inflatable travel seat cushion will help me a lot when I travel on a long flight in uncomfortable seat. The plane seats are getting more uncomfortable these days and I can really use a portable cushion like this to make my travel more comfortable. The cushion is easy to inflate with the built-in pump, and it did not take long to fully inflate with my hand. I've been using it for a while now, and it definitely makes it comfortable to seat in a chair long time. The cushion did not leak any air while using it, and it was quick to deflate the cushion. The cushion did not have any bad smell either. I am taking it with me on my upcoming trip for sure. The price is a little steep for a cushion, but if it proves itself on my next trip, I think it would justify its price.
