works well when you understand spring setup The switch works backward until you set the spring to to overcome the switch spring that was not clear in the instructions.

The Carrier Infinity system that I have is a 5-stage and most times is pushing a low static pressure around .02 when on running on stage 1.I use this to control power for an Electronic air cleaner and fits the bill PERFECTLY and allow as lot of flexibility depending on your static pressure needs. As others have said, you can get this cheaper from Grainer, but did not have time to run and get it there.

The pressure sensing switch is exactly as described and works well. I would recommend to buy from Grainger for fast delivery and service.

i now have two of these on my HVAC system.the first one i installed i did not really care what the exact pressure was as i simply wanted by dehumidifier to shut down when the HVAC fan operated. this fit the bull perfectly.the second one i installed and did go through the careful calibration process. i wanted a way to measure how dirty my HVAC filter was. using a pressure gauge a clean filter had a pressure drop of 0.09"wc. basically doubling this, i calibrated the pressure switch for 0.19"wc to cause an indication to replace the filter. through trial and error to hone into the exact reading i wanted i now have the switch actuating between 0.185 and 0.195 which is close enough for me. very happy

Switch works fine but....Some assembly required.Is not shipped from and sold by B2B Superstore as described.Comes directly from Grainger.Guess what? Grainger has it at a lower price.So much for Prime benifits.
