I usually try to put my feet up on my underseat bag. This does not work very well. I am not a short person at 5'9" but I still need to move my legs around and support them. I originally thought the slats went side to side but realized they go length wise. Side to side makes it so your feet are on top of each other. Silly me.My only issue is I travel with a tray cover. This makes it so I have way too much stuff hanging off the back of the seat in front of me. Otherwise, it is a good foot rest.

It IS better than the ones without the spreader support, but the spreader is not very wide. Check the dimensions before ordering and you will be happy with it. No creepy Chinese polyester smell.

I like the bamboo platform being in sections which makes it more portable while still providing a wide platform to rest my feet on. The strap is adjustable and slides like butter. The material and stitching are good. The clasp is easy to operate too. All around, I like this foot rest. I hooked it to my kitchen chair to simulate an airplane seat back.

I have a couple of these foot rest and this one has some good features which makes it stand out. The area to rest your feet is nice and big compared to my other foot rest. It is also a solid platform which I find much more comfortable when I want to put my feet up.I also like how the platform uses strips of wood that will fold up make it a little easier to transport. Since the solid strips fold up it takes up a little less room in the personal bag, and very inch of space counts when you're traveling. The straps are very solid and strong, and there is a buckle to make removal and installation a breeze. Since the hard plate is removable, you can wash the rest the foot hammock, but I didn't see any care instructions. The carrying bag is ok quality, it's just there to pack away the foot hammock when not in use.

I recently used the Airplane Foot Hammock with Bamboo Board Support on a long flight, and I’m genuinely impressed. It made a big difference in how comfortable I felt, especially after several hours in the air. The wide design and bamboo board support provide a nice, stable base for your feet — no awkward sagging or pressure on your calves like with some flimsier versions. The adjustable straps make it easy to set the perfect height depending on your seat and leg length, and I found it helped reduce leg fatigue significantly. What I really appreciated was how compact and foldable it is — it barely took up any room in my carry-on, and setting it up was super quick. It’s definitely a travel essential if you fly often or have trouble getting comfortable in economy class. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make flights a little more easy and bearable!

Full disclosure, I have not used it on an airplane yet. Like another reviewer, I set this up on my desk and I really like it! It was easy to set up (providing you have something under your desk to hang it on). It was comfortable and did what it was supposed to do. I am looking forward to using it on a plane this summer but I like that it is versatile and can also be used at the office when you aren't off jet-setting.

I ordered this footrest for my recent international trip, and I absolutely LOVED it! We've tried different types of footrests before, but this was our first time using a hammock-style one.First of all, it doesn’t take up much space in my carry-on, which is a huge plus. Inflatable footrests can be bulky and heavy, but this hammock is thin and light. It also provided great support for my legs. I loved that I can use it both as a leg support or footrest. Plus, it’s adjustable, so I can use it for myself or my kids.I’ll definitely be ordering this footrest for future flights for my family!
