I tried this on Southwest Airlines flights. It hangs over the tray table arms. It was challenging to adjust when there were passengers on both sides of me. I'm 5'10" so w/the tray table down, I couldn't see my feet, and wearing shoes made it difficult to find and place my feet upon it without pushing it away. It was much easier when my shoes were off. Once hung, it is nice to have an alternative place to rest my feet that allows for a little bit of rocking too, without bothering the passenger in front of me. It is light and folds and stores compactly into my backpack. I will continue to bring this when flying, especially long flights, for the extra comfort.

I have not yet tried this on an airplane, so I can't comment on whether it aids in comfort. I can say that I think this hammock is well made It does appear that it will hold up to the pressure of feet pulling down on the belts. It will be easy to attach and adjust. I like that there is a board at the bottom which will help keep feet flat. I do have larger feet (women's size 10.5) and I wear athletic shoes when traveling and that said, it is a tight squeeze on the flat area between the sides for my feet. They will have to be touching the whole time and I am unsure if this will cause discomfort. This product only takes up a very small amount of space in my carry on and should be easy to travel with. I have an upcoming 10 hour flight, so I will try this out then.
