Installed this on my 2006 4runner sport V6. I would drain the diff grease before starting as a lot of it will come out, makes a great time to change the fluid anyways. This solved my issues of 4wd not working. Before installing, when selecting 4wd hi it would just flash the 4wd and difflock lights on the dashboard and beep. It would continue to do this until i would turn the truck off and back on. This actuator fixed my issues and im glad because it is way less expensive and easier install than the transfer case actuator

This came with the vacuum hose, thread lock and great instructions. I got my 4x4 tacoma ready for the next snow storm. I was very happy with the part. just a little tip for removal and installation, the top left bolt can be difficult. I used a 1/4 inch ratchet with a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter for the 12 mm socket. That combo will allow you to remove and install a little easier.
