I bought this Inline Magnetic Transmission Power Steering Filter because I had to replace my power steering pump.I wonder about the claim the filter is magnetic but until I have used the filter for at least 6 months I won't cut it apart. I also liked that the seller showed the direction this filter is supposed to be installed but I already knew that small fact. Other sellers do not show this! Minor detail really. I attached my own strip magnet to the filter along with some heavy duty tape to make sure it stays attached as there is really no way to clean out all the old metals from a bad pump that I know of. When I get around to replacing again I will cut it open to see what it has inside as I assume they placed a small magnet there.Had the seller, manufacture shown how, where the magnet is inside would have been a Great selling point! IMPO.It seems to be well build with good welds, Better than any plastic or Glass filter available today.Buy it and give it and give it a shot folks. If a remember Ill take a picture of the filter installed later.
