4 stars as it is what it is advertised to be. I think the grandchild will enjoy it when she has more exposure in class. On paper an equation is just numbers. But when you can physical see what 1/4 plus 1/3 is, the mind catches on better for visual learners.

This product is fantastic for homeschooling. Or just keeping you kids sharp on their fractions. We absolutely love it. My 5&7yr even play with it.

This is a great set. I'm sure it would be beneficial for many types of kids and useful in many types of activities. My fourth grader was ecstatic to get this set. He loves fractions. (He likes other "more normal" things, too. And there's nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about math...) He was excited to start learning about decimals and percentages, so he dove into this set, and is seriously already learning to convert and use them in real life, after only playing with this set a few days. He likes the activities on the wipeoff boards (and I appreciate two markers being included) and has also been using the blocks to figure out things on his own.Everything is durable, and I really appreciate how much fun he is having while learning on his own!

These fraction cubes are perfect for teaching kids about the different ways a whole can be broken down into parts. The cubes are all interlocking and are decent quality. I like that the cubes show the fraction, decimal and percentage of each part. It's a handy set for teaching multiple concepts around fractions. There are also cards that you can use for kids to work with the fraction cubes.

My children had a difficult time grasping fractions. They’d memorize enough to pass their tests, but true recognition was lacking. I don’t blame them, it’s a difficult concept to grasp without hands-on learning.This saved the day. It’s amazing at helping children truly understand what fractions are, especially why “bigger numbers” aren’t necessarily greater (for example, 1/10 vs 1/2). These pieces also have each fraction printed in other forms, such as .25, 25% and 1/4. So children learn how each of those methods relates to the other.The worksheets are great to help them practice, and they’re reusable. So they can use them over and over again, and with multiple children.These are an absolute must-have for teaching fractions. Help your children truly know fractions, not just memorize them.
