Purchased this version as I thought coating would be gentler to teeth when horse released from mouth. After 3 days use the coating began to wear off. Today it has no coating.

Much better than the Tom thumb my horse came with! He's much happier - and more responsive - in this bit! He hated his old bit. Now he readily takes this one without any argument.
