So happy I purchased these rather than the paper or flimsy soft plastic ones you can get. I will use and make this Alaska quilt again and have these great acrylic templates to use again!

Bought the quilt pattern after I saw a finished one and fell in love! Yes, the directions in the pattern do have the templates on paper, but then you need to make them out of something durable enough to handle all that cutting you will be doing. These templates are the perfect solution!! SO worth it!! Makes the cutting easy, fast, and sewing the pieces together is just like assembling puzzle pieces. Everything FITS!I left the paper on the backing as it adds that little bit of stability to prevent sliding. GREAT product!!!!

The templates were great but if I were to do the Alaska quilt again, I’d buy the pre-cut fabric. The time it took to cut over 1,000 pieces wasn’t worth it. If you want to use your own fabrics though these are a must have. Note per Editya the corners of the templates were clipped so they wouldn’t poke you so you don’t need to cut the fabric corners off if you don’t want to. She has a good video on You Tube on how to cut using these templates
