We have one of those hamster cages with the external tubes that run out and above the cage to each side (from Amazon). We had to remove the top tube because our hamster has decided to use it as the potty and it's causing a mess. So, I needed caps to seal off the ports on each side of the cage. These caps looked great and fit into the tube collars, but are LOOSE. They DO NOT SNAP TIGHT and will come off if wiggled. My solution was to use epoxy and glue them in place. Problem solved, but I wish these fit tight right out of the box/bag. Maybe brands vary and these fit other brands better... but for ours it didn't fit as is.

These are great if you are short of end caps or top ends to your current hamster cage. I have my hamsters under 24/7 security cameras overhead and wanted something clear to replace solid pieces that was blocking some of the top end caps to my cages. This fits perfectly and allows my cameras to see through the clear colors I got with my package. Overall, a great option if you are building elaborate tubing or need extra end caps to your cages.
