Awesome switch for off-road lights. Slim minimalist panel for in cab. The controller in the engine bay is well organized and easy to install and use. Instructions could be better but it’s a pretty basic install if you’re familiar with DC electricity. Value for money is excellent compared to other switches and likely is the same product just different branding.

Switch panel works great. Easy to wire, plenty of stickers to label your panel. BT app works great and you can customize the switches with more than just stickers. Only complaint, and reason I spent extra money on BT, was so I could control trailer functions from inside truck. I connected 2 feet away to panel when hooking up. appeared to stay connected as I entered truck, turned on one switch as a test, but then lost connection. Will buy again, just wont' spend money for BT.

Edited 1/15/24Changing from 3-star to 5-star. After some further consideration, I think the issue with not restoring power to the previous state is a "nice to have" and a feature that would fit my particular installation - but it's probably not fair to penalize Alavente. What convinced me to bump it to 5 is the very sincere and responsive replies I've received to any of my concerns from their support group. Their English is really good too, compared to many other vendors who provide support from off shore.I did have an issue where one of the 30A circuits failed after accidentally setting my compressor to "pulse". It didn't take but a second, but the thrashing of it turning on and off 5x per second must have damaged the solid-state relays. To their credit, they immediately offered to send a replacement despite me admitting it was user error and not their fault. What a great response.Original Feedback from 1/11/24Overall, I think this is a good product - as long as you know the limits. For what it is, it's expensive. No doubt, you could build something like this with 8 12v relays, a project box, and a little know-how. And probably for less than half the cost. But, would it be as compact, well built, and good looking? Not likely. The fit and finish are above expectations. But the execution left me wanting more customization.Pros:1) It's compact - it'll fit under just about any hood, no matter how cramped it may be.2) It's well accessorized - the little added hardware items really make it an all-in-one install. I especially like the circuit-branching terminals that keep you from having to Jerry-rig something in your fuse box.3) It is weatherproof - the epoxy they use to cover all the sensitive electronics look to stop any moisture issues.4) Installation is a snap - if you have any electrical intuition, you won't need the manual. But even if you don't, the manual is easy to follow. The cable that goes through the firewall is thin, with a small connector - so getting through bushings is pretty simple.Cons:1) You cannot dim the control panel to OFF. This would be helpful for those that want to leave their system on constant power, but with minimal current draw.2) The app does not appear to be compatible with at least some of the Android-based Chinese head units. While some of this lies with the head units, there does appear to be an incompatibility with the software even if the bluetooth connection works. I'm currently working with Alavente's tech support to figure out why.3) Probably the most disappointing issue is the lack of "last-power-state-resume". If an item you have connected needs to be energized the majority of the time, you have to remember to turn on the item EVERY time you start the car. Ideally, the switch would return to the previous power state when the controller is energized as you start the car. That last one gets me. I understand that if all you're powering are LED light bars and other lighting, that it makes more sense for them to stay off after a drive cycle (so you don't drive with them on accidentally during the day). But, for things that do need to stay on - for example, communication devices (radios, scanners, etc) and compressors (for air horns or suspension), having to remember to turn all of them back on again after every shutdown of the vehicle - well, it's less than ideal.I drive my personal vehicle when responding to fire calls. The emergency lights are good to shut off and stay off when car is shut down. However, radios and compressors need to come back up on their own when the car is started.I was hoping to consolidate all my circuits into this one controller, but without the ability for the controller to resume power to those I left on - well, for those items, I have to wire them back to their original bulky switches and relays. And that's why I'm going with an overall 3 stars. On solution, of course is to leave the controller powered up 100% of the time. However, with the panel being illuminated (and no way to turn it off without shutting down the switches), it would drain the battery too quickly.Alavente stated that most customers would find auto-resume to be detrimental. My counter to that would be - make it optional. I would venture that most customers won't be driving with their LEDs strobing either. Yet, that is an option. They were so close...

Por qué pagar por la marca líder, si es exactamente el mismo producto, solo que sin la leyenda de la marca a la vista.

Doesn’t make sense that Auxbeam is selling this EXACT same model for over $160.This little switch panel is perfect. Easy to install, cleans up your engine bay, and is efficient for auxiliary lighting and accessories.I’m extremely happy with this purchase. I haven’t had any mechanical issues or failures, everything functions as normal.Pro Tip (assuming you own a Tacoma): I personally wanted my switch panel to be on when the truck is in ACC mode (or when the truck is completely on) and MANY install videos on YouTube suggested that you tap into the highlight fuse. This means that your headlights must be on in order for the controller box to get power. I did not want this because I need to use my ambers while chasing and headlights are no good when you’re behind someone kicking up dust.Instead, I saw a video of someone who tapped into the fuel injector pump fuse. This means that your controller box will get power ONLY in ACC mode (or when your vehicle is on); this is exactly what I wanted. There have been no issues going with this option.
