I wanted sheer knee-highs which apparently stores like Kohl's and Macys have decided are no longer necessary to carry in inventory. But I can't wear dress shoes without something. These are delicate and sheer, and high enough to be invisible for most hemlines that I have. I would have preferred a completely sheer toe, but the reinforced one is light enough that it's not that obvious. And probably good to have for wearability and endurance. All in all, a great deal for a really good product.

I got these for my daughter & I to share bc they’re one size & come in a six pack. I desperately needed trouser socks & my daughter loves this style as knee socks to where with certain skirts & shorts. These definitely seem to work as One Size for anyone from small to large, but beyond that they probably wouldn’t fit properly or comfortably. These have to be the thinnest panty hose material I’ve ever come across. I’m pretty sure they’re even thinner than the small footy hose that you wear to try on shoes at shoe stores if you don’t have socks or if you’re trying on dress shoes which aren’t meant to be worn with socks. The first time I wore a pair, I ripped them at least five times, probably more, & most of those rips happened while I was putting them on. Full disclosure, I have medium to long almond shaped nails, but I was beyond careful when putting these on specifically with that in mind & it definitely wasn’t my first time putting on hose with my nails done this way. Something I found to be pretty cool & very different from other hose is that these didn’t seem to run once there was a hole. The hole seemed to stay about the same size & it didn’t cause a run up & down like most hose, so I am able to wear them again as long as my boots or pants cover the holes. The seam at the toes has a way of slipping under my toes no matter how many times I fix it & it starts to irritate & then hurt the bottom of my toes, but that may just be an issue for me. The cotton on the bottom is a great idea & I was pretty excited to try it out, but it’s so thin that it doesn’t benefit the wearer at all. It slides around as much as hose do & it’s so thin that it doesn’t offer any support.On the other hand, my daughter absolutely loved the pair that she wore. She found them a little hard to get on properly & straight, but she only made a tiny hole in the hose & was able to still wear them with her skirt. Also she absolutely loved the color when they were on & was able to pull them up to just over her knee. She didn’t seem to have any complaints other than how tedious it is to put them on.Despite everything, you really can’t go wrong with 6 pair of trouser socks

I was apprehensive when I first put them on because they seemed so thin! However, I was surprised how good they felt on my legs and they stayed up! No twisting or drooping. I don’t know the purpose of the cotton patch, but it doesn’t bother me at all. Maybe it does some good to the bottom of my foot, so ok then! Also they wear longer than I thought. Still on the first pair after several washings. I will buy them again.
