My husband and I rent off-campus, college student apartments in the summer to get away from the Arizona hot summers. I just needed an inexpensive, but nice looking coverlet to cover two bare mattresses in one of the empty unused bedrooms. This was perfect! It covers the bare mattress and looks just as it does in the picture. It is light-weight and would be a perfect blanket for the summer or for a college student with a blanket underneath. There were minimal wrinkles when I unwrapped it. Since the bedding will not be used, I stuffed the sham with newspaper to look like a pillow; at the end of the summer, the sham can folded up and stored with the coverlet over the winter. Very happy with the purchase. I would recommend this for a teen or college student.

We have a cal king bed which has a serta thick mattress. It then is on a base that has drawers all around it for storage. I've always had to use an annoying bed skirt to make up for the difference between the whole 7 or 8" of comforter that went over the sides to at least the top of that base to cover the mattress. This quilt hits in the middle of the base and covers all of that. Love it!Very soft and comfortable to lay on.NO discernable smell( take it from someone who suffers intractable chronic daily migraines )..there is no smell and "I" would pick up on that rt away!!Packed nicely so not wrinkled and has nice stitching.Nice lightweight feel although I have my electric blanket under it still and am toasty.....the quilt helps keep it insulated.I love the colors..now I need to paint my room haha.Just a recommendation...I bought new curtains for my bedroom( abs love those too...room darkening). I bought the home ideas brand in navy blue..but they have a bit too much blue in them which doesn't really match any of the blues in the quilt .Since i wasn't going to be hanging them close to the quilt I kept them anyway to skip the hassle...and I really kinda liked the blue😉. I'd suggest going more with just NAVY as the color if you are going to try to pick up a blue in the quilt. Hope this helps.( Also I love those curtains ,so look at my review for those).

Great quality for the money. It took the look in my sons room from little boy to teenager. It's light weight but still heavy enough to offer some warmth. Not overly bulky, easily manageable when he's making his bed and has a nice amount of over hang to cover the sheets. The colors make the room look brighter.

This is just what I wanted. It is well made, soft, lightweight and a very comfortable covering . I looked for something light and easy to care for and this is perfect! I received it quickly too.

This is surprisingly cute. Is quite thin but that is good for us because we live in Arizona.It's not like super duper well-made but I think for the price it's great. It is plenty long enough for a queen size bed which is nice. My eleven-year-old son likes it
