The dead blow aspect of this hammer is pretty insignificant as there isn’t much space for the beads to move inside the head. The attachments stay on well.

I do a lot of finish work and use this mallet for just about everything. It’s light enough that you have plenty of control for chiseling and delicate work, but strikes hard when you want it to, with minimal effort. The interchangeable heads are quite durable. The softest one is juuuust soft enough to be able to not mar materials, but without being bouncy.Because the edges are square, I also like to use the mallet as a tapping/beater-block with a hammer.

I've been using this hammer for about a week now and so far I love it. I have 2 different soft-face mallets I use to use for various tasks where I did not want to damage the workpiece but this has replaced them both.I have the white and orange heads on the hammer, as they are the most common I use in my man cave. I have tried the black head and it's very robust and I was able to drive large spikes into a log of maple without issue. As far as quality is concerned, the hammer is solid. It is not light and it is not heavy. I'd say it's a perfect weight for a hammer that is designed to do what this is. Moreover, the heads secure very snugly within the hammer head due to both the strong rare earth magnet on them, and the small ridge/lip on the removable heads that adds additional security when securing it in the hammer head. Likewise, the tool that allows you to remove the head(s) can easily secure all 3 heads on it vertically and even has a hole at the top where you can hang it on a pegboard, nail, etc.Overwall I really like this hammer due to its versatility, fantastic impact power and quality of interchangeable heads (these are NOT cheap heads). And at $15, one can't go wrong with a hammer of this quality.

I use this thing at work. It’s a great built tool. Unique, and useful hammer. I keep the black and white pads on. Orange left at home. I use it as a hammer in cabinetry. I use a rubber deadblow for making adjustments and I use the to beat, brake, and remove things too hard to remove w the rubber mallet like the feet on the cabinetry. The deadblow part is nice. Not needing as much force plus the square head make this thing a bad***. It’s a part of my family now and I love quality tools. The metal side of this thing is clean and surprised me. And the thing is weightless. No one is reviewing this thing. And it’s a shame. I love standing it on its head when not in use. Black is hard and white isn’t rubber like a mallet it’s hard but gentle on wood. It was hard to make a dent in a pc of wood.👍 7.9/10 would buy again if they updated it/ make new head/ or if I lose it somehow.
