After a quote for $600 to rebuild a carburetor and replace a fuel petcock, I thought we were getting the shaft. Found this on Amazon and we have never worked on a bike before. No instructions but a few You tube videos and watching how the original carb was put together, we managed and the bike now rides great! Highly recommend

Beyond my expectations. Bolted this carb on my 2001 XR50 and the thing runs like new! Didn’t even need to adjust the carb in any way.

Quality is non existent but it does work. You will have to bend the choke lever in order to clear the frame on honda xr80. Even with the richest setting on the needle this carb runs very lean. I recommend transferring your main jet from the original carb or drilling out the new one to get some more fuel in there. It will not run right without doing so

You will have to install your old choke lever or bend the lever on the new carb to make it work. The new carb comes with treaded holes on the intake side, not threaded studs. I just used a couple 6mm bolts to bolt it on. The choke plate does not have the little door and spring on it so you have to be quick to take the choke off or the bike floods. The bore on the carb is smaller then the OEM carb but the bike runs fine. My final thoughts are: It's cheap and it works as long as you do the things mentioned in this review!

I put in on my 2003 honda xr 80 and on the first ride the needle valve stuck and pissed all my gas out. and i was stranded in the middle of no where.

Fit my 2001 xr80 8 . Exactly no modifications required . I used the the screw on top from the factory carb but used the included slide so I did not even require a cable change . Starts right up and was very easy to dial in . Great deal and price.
