Good reflectivity. The pin is a bit short.

These tacks are much better than the OTHER brand. I have some up for three years and they work perfectly.

Unfortunately phone cameras don't accurately show what the human eye can see, but shining my flashlight into the woods showed me reflective tabs approx. 40 yards away. At first, I thought I was being invaded by an army of Cyclopes. Easy to push in if you center the pressure of your finger. If you are off center, yes they will break. It's basically a thumbtack. As to how long they last...only time will tell.

If you like walking in the bush in the dark and not getting lost then these are for you. Remember…if you plan on using the trail for awhile you should put them low on the tree. Because well … trees grow and if you put it eye level it’ll be gone in no time.Stay safe out there people!

I got tired of tripping over everything on the way out to my deer stand in the mornings, so I purchases these, and the price was right. Who knew that these little reflective tacks could make such a difference? I put them around my trail cams also to find them right away in the darkness. Hope someone finds this review helpful!

I got turned around after dark once at the start of last deer season. I kept having to switch back and forth on my phone and try to walk out. I knew roughly where I was and I knew I'd get out but I was in a really thick area and I basically had to bull my way out of the woods. After a lot of cussing and ripped clothes and skin, I got these. More than once, I have been grateful that I had them. The markers are highly visible at distance. You might not be able to see anything else off in the distance but you'll see this marker I can assure you. If you hunt an area that you don't want to leave them for fear someone else might poke around, just put them on clothes pins and take them back up on your way out. Works great.

These things really glow bright. Problem is, so many other people are using them that it can get confusing and you have to be careful not to get fooled into following someone elses trail to god knows where. I solved this problem by using the orange and white tacks side by side. Furthermore, i put the orange on the side that generally points the direction I should go (in) and so the white is the on the general side to return (out). As long as no one else uses this schema, I am never getting lost. I have to use twice as many tacks, but that is a small price to pay for that secure feeling in the middle of the woods at night.

After being lost in the woods after dark I bought these. So far so good. Easy to use and easy to see with a flash light.

I've used these and a few other brands and these seem to be as good, if not a little better, than the other brands. These are perfect to use finding your stand in the dark. I space them about 30 yards apart and when the light hits them they shine very bright. Almost impossible so spot in the daytime unless you are looking for them. Some of mine have been out 3 or 4 years and are still working. I use a GPS but I still put these out because they are not prone to fail like a GPS can. Perhaps the time I found these most useful was when I killed my black bear. The bear ran and died in a VERY dense laurel thicket that is several acres in size. I found the bear and there was hardly a blood trail to follow. I knew that I was going to need help getting it out of the woods and it was approaching dark so as I walked out I placed these along the way and my friend and I was able to walk directly to the bear and get it out.
