This did not fit the Allison transmission on my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD LBZ Duramax Diesel. Diameter is much larger than the one I needed.

I tried to put this on the tube and then push the tube into the transmission. Had to remove and put it in the transmission hole and the put the dipstick into the grommet. I put transmission oil on both sides of the grommet.
