It is black in color and made from ballastic nylon material. It keeps transmission explosions contained if an internal sprag or drum fails. It is ideal for high horsepower race cars with a stock firewall/floor pan where a transmission shield isn't practical. It may be secured to virtually any automatic or manual transmission. I didn't like that it was so stiff and really didn't fit a couple different transmissions. Its better than nothing but not by much. Also the width isn't much. Only about as much coverage as the Th400 pan. Id like to see it more pliable and bigger with a third buckle. The straps kept coming loose under the car until I zip tied them. I ended up returning it. Just to may things I'm not ok with for it being effective.

At first I was like what the heck is Ramjet. After checking deminsions it's the same just different name. Should fit my th400 fine.
