I found an old guitar out on the curb. The homeowner was outside, and when we asked if he was selling it, he told us to take it. That was great because I had been looking for a guitar to refurbish. (That is something I had been wanting to do.) I bought some other parts, including these pegs, and the guitar looks and sounds awesome!

Good solid build pin, unfortunately doesn't fit my acoustic guitar as Ibanez uses like Fender the "Advantage" pins, which are way bigger in size. So still 5* for build quality, price and delivery time.

Brass pegs just wouldnt hold for chit. Had to put the old ones back in.Brass looks cool, but the reality is that it just won't hold. Not the sellers fault.......lesson learned. Metal pins are a really bad idea.

I bought these mainly for the bridge pins to go with a brass nut and saddle I also purchased here on Amazon. I wanted these to match, plus I was hoping to enhance the new found sound the brass nut & saddle lent to a cheap Jasmine acoustic that, yes, I bought on Amazon as well. I do think that, if anything, it added just a bit more metallic (pleasant) ring to the timbre but I could be imagining things. The nut and saddle in this package were as expected; they’re definitely good quality bone. I plan on using them to upgrade yet another Jasmine guitar…bought on Amazon too. Yes, the bridge pins fit just fine and if you’re having trouble with these, or any others, you’re just not seating the ball end of the string properly. The ball end needs to seat underneath the bridge. Imagine once you put the string in the bridge hole that you push the ball end toward the head of the guitar a little so that you make the ball catch on the underside edge of the bridge. Once that’s achieved, the bridge pin goes in to wedge the ball end in place so it doesn’t slip out. I’ve been playing guitar for just over 26 years and, as embarrassing as it is to admit, I just learned this little tidbit not more than a month ago. Anyway… 5/5 stars and I do recommend this set.P.S.> apologies for the long explanation at the end. I just wanted to pass along a little knowledge I wish I’d had sooner.

I hate leaving a poor review but sometimes one must. These fit into my 1989 Kazuo Yairi FY65 signature series perfectly, like the original pegs. However they will not hold down. Huh? Just won't stay down. Compared them to original pegs and can only assume maybe it's the metal being to slick / polished??? Original pegs went right in soooo? Yet they both slid in perfectly even, so I'm confused. Tried in all holes as if they were the same original held but brass slides. I don't really know but I cannot recommend at all. Missed return date so that's on me. Amazon always honors their returns. I like the peg removing tool. Haven't tried the bone saddle and nut so can't speak on that issue. The pegs are what I wanted and they're a bust. Risk at your own expense and time.

The brass gives my guitar more of an interesting tone. They look great. My guitar guy also installed the bone bridge which also improved quality.

Delivered early! Good, heavy duty brass Bridge pins are solid as a rock! It takes a bit of persuasion to get them to stay put while tuning. They don't adhere to wood very well and will fly out under string tension. With extra tapping, I got them to stay put and the guitar tunes just fine.
