After about two weeks of having it, it stop charging my phone. This phone case is trash 🚮…….. don’t waste your money 🗑️

When I pre-ordered my new iPhone 15 Pro Max, I started to look for a battery case instead of a normal phone case. I always use a battery case.I ordered 3 battery cases in different styles available on Amazon and finally returned the other two and kept this one. I also ordered one more as a gift. Among the 3, one is around ten dollars cheaper than Alpatronix with a similar case style but it contains a USB C plug inside the case that is not fully wireless and the case is much more difficult to take out the phone due to the usb C plug. This Alpatronix Battery Case price is in the middle but it is easy to retrieve the phone, and it totally wireless without usb C plug inside the case. Of course, there is an usb C plug outside that allows me to plug in the cable to charge both the case and my phone. The third one is the most expensive and gives 360 degrees of protection for the iPhone but it is extremely heavy, bulky, and looks ugly.The Alpatronix battery case fits perfectly with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The top part is soft plastic, easy to remove the case and take the phone out. This case originally could be charged wirelessly but for easy carry and holding the phone, I added a ring holder so wasn't able to use wireless. When I needed to charge the case, I just plugged in the cable to get it charged. It will first charge the phone then the case. There is an indication light at the back to show the battery volume. Adding the case does increase the weight of the phone but I still find it pretty handy and I am happy not to worry about running out of battery. The side edges of the case have some rough patterns to help prevent slipping when holding the phone.For the cons, although the front edge of the case does rise a bit, I still found it not raised well enough to protect the phone screen like normal phone cases. I hope there will be some improvement for the next generation. And I still found the price is a bit high, other than that, it is a perfect case especially when traveling and playing games.

I have been an Alpatronix customer since 2015 and couldn’t be more pleased with their products. Each time I upgraded my phone, I would purchase the latest, greatest charging case. I've used Alpatronix charging cases for my last 3 iPhones. I tried this out for my wife, who had the Pro and not the Max. This is their new case for the iPhone 15 Pro, but they indicated it would work with the iPhone 14 Pro. And that it did. Slipping it on and off the iPhone is extremely easy, and I had no fear of breaking off the charging tab. The case came half to almost 2/3 charged, so it took very little time to charge it fully 100%. Once fully charged, we could easily get at least another 3 hours on her phone. The case remains relatively small, and it was fairly light. But it still felt solid and very protective of the iPhone. I see no reason why this case won't last as well as my other cases, which have easily outlived my iPhones before upgrading. I will gladly remain a customer of Alpatronix for a long time.

A good general purpose battery case for 6.1 in. screens, iPhones13 Pro thru 15 Pro (iPhone 13 Pro used for testing). If you looking for a battery case that can transition from iPhone 13 Pro thru the 15 Pro then this may be a good solution. But if you're looking for a battery case that will allow for direct connection without repeated use of the phones port, then this might not be fore you and you'll want to get the battery case specifically designed for your particular 6.1 in. iPhone.PROS:1. can provide a full wireless charge with some to spare2. has opening to attach iPhone lightning cable for direct charging and USB connectivity3. rubber casing provides good cushioning for falls at approx. 3ft,4. when plugged into the USB-C port the phone gets wirelessly charged as well.5. did not seem to get very hot when charging from a phone starting at 25%CONS:1. The iPhone does not get charged if the battery case is connected to a wireless charging stand (disappointing, loss of 1 star)2. unless you connect wirelessly there is no data connectivity (expected) a. however you can connect directly to the phones lightning port, the mfg. did leave an opening for direct connection.3. if you have a protective glass screen, you may need to shave a bit around the inner edges of the battery case with an X-Acto knife or else it will lift up the edges of your screen protector (minor issue, seems to be the case with many other brands)
