It's normal for there to be some mold when using hydroponic sponges, but these had so much that my germination rate was lower than usual. The sponges are relatively firm/dense which may be a contributing factor.I ended up throwing them away.

These work but they do mold, quite a bit. They hinder some growth bc they tend to mold quickly. Not sure if it’s the seeds but some are fine with the same seeds. I’ll be looking for another supplier.

These could be a little larger but will work .The other 2 are definitely too small .
