Not a bad item however when locked in the quiver does not stay tight to the bow.

I was really looking forward to this quiver but unfortunately it’s not good enough to work in the rugged conditions you might expect for a hunt. The cons are first and foremost that it will not securely hold carbon arrow shafts. This is especially disappointing since I run a very light set up for steep terrain and minimalist approach to backcountry hunts, so I figured this being as light weight as it is, it would definitely hold onto light weight slim shaft arrows as well, but it’s just not the case. In fact when shooting they would bounce out of the quiver! Very very dangerous with broadheads not to mention quiet irritating. I’ve reached out to alpine and never gotten a response. The main issue seems to be in the rubber grips they have on the quiver. If they made them tighter it’d be a much better design.Second, durability just isn’t there. The same rubber is the issue. I ended up using this for a local club 3D target shoot, dealing with 1 arrow instead of a full quiver since I didn’t want to slice myself open, and when I set my bow down (no spot to hang it) when retrieving, I noticed the rubber had ripped. Definitely wasn’t from larger arrows ripping it being they slip out, had to be from gentle gentle use. No way it’d last after rough hunts or of weather. I have since tried modifying it to take advantage of a bad thing that could be improved but no luck.It is light weight though, and the top does cover the full broad tip (if only it held onto it better), and it’s a sleek design. But you get what you pay for.Again, this may be better for those just looking for a light weight option with backyard targets if you have larger arrow shafts, but over all I’d just have to recommend you pass. Especially with the risk of a serious bleed
