I’d be afraid to rev the alternator at all with this thing on. Make a C with your forefinger and thumb, relax a little. It’s that big, right at 2” flange to flange. Useless.

I have a high output alternator on my car, but Im running a sound system and air ride setup with dual 480c Viair compressors. Issue is that the alternator only puts out high amperage at 1500 rmp or higher. Problem is car only idles at 750 rmp. So when I would have the system booming and the compressors would kick on, my Taramps Smart 3K amplifier (also bought here on Amazon) kept cutting off due to lack of power. I was not sure at first if it was gonna work because it is a 6 groove pulley and my car runs a 4 groove serpentine belt. You can absolutely run a 6 groove pulley on a 4 groove belt. Just be sure to line it up so that your belt is on the closest side of your pulley on the alternator side. This pulley kit came with 3 different thickness spacers to match the pulley distance from alternator housing. This inclusion allows you to mix and match spacers to match the original spacing as the original pulley. This pulley was installed in under 20 mins. It solved my all of my power issues. I can now be loud and low at the same time. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.
