didn’t end up feeling happy with this purchase. the reeds were inconsistent and sloppily carved. the neck strap wasn’t able to support the weight of the saxophone – i had to constantly adjust it. the mouthpiece was alright, though. the ligature wasn’t bad. don’t buy this for the reeds or the strap. you’re better off buying your reeds from a local woodwind shop.

The mouthpiece is terrible. The opening where it slides on the neck cork is larger than stardard, so it has to slide WAY on there before it MAYBE seals.The other pieces in the kit are great.The neck strap is super easy to adjust, though I wish the cord in it were a few inches shorter overall.The ligature is beautiful and works fine.The reeds are fine.The mouthpiece cap is functional.

The fact that it works is enough for me. For the price, this is a no-brainer buy for saxophone players. You get so much for the money. Parts, spare mouthpiece for whatever reason if you lose your mouthpiece, or just need one to walk around and practice on. It's great.
