My son plays the saxophone and needed new reeds. These were half the price of the last set I bought and I figured a reed is a reed. Wrong. My son said they break and crack upon use. He would rather use one of his old splintered reed than these. I would spend the extra money and get a better product because now I'm out the price of these plus the new reeds.
