I have roofbars on my camping truck and needed a way to mount area flood lights for use when at the campsite. The only thing is how to mount it do items on the roof don't catch or bump it? I didn't want things sticking up past the roofbar line and saw this mount. It seems to fit the bill. The clamping mount allows me variable clamping widths so fitting my roofbar would not be an issue. The hardware it came with (hex key screws) are good quality as is the rest of the clamp mount. The machining is clean and the powder coating is even and tight. If you mount on your motorcycle forks it may get chipped by rocks and debris so that is something to be concerned but it shouldn't rust since it is aluminum alloy. The mount is light but sturdy feeling. I get rubber inserts to pad my mounting surface, though you may want to add more if you are worried about vibrations and shaking lights, or if your mounting bar is on the smaller side. Overall, I like these mounts. They look good and they are well made.

I actually bought this to help attach a pannier to my Rad Power rear rack as a typical one will not fit since the tube size is too big to accommodate one. Solid construction, looks nice when it is attached and would fit a regular tube for a side-by-side or ATV as expected. Took maybe 2 minutes to install it where I needed to and all of the items needed were provided.

This is a nicely made product that should last a long time.This item facilitates mounting of lights and cameras to round tubing on motorcycles and ATVs without drilling into the tubing on the vehicle itself. It's got three different sized tapped holes to bolt your item on with (the mounting holes are M6, M8 and M10 metric bolts). As an alternative if your item has a round clamp mount you could use it to clamp to the round 1 inch bar.They advertise this product to be used to attach lights and cameras to motorcyles and ATVs, but with a little ingenuity this can be used to attach lots of different things to certain sizes of round tubing or pipe. Just make sure to measure your tubing diameter to ensure this mount will fit as this is intended for 1.38 to 2.44 inch diameters.You also need to be sure you can bolt your item to the bar with one of the three mounting holes (M6, M8, M10), or have a round 1 inch diameter clamp to clamp your item to the bar.The mounting bar comes detached and mounts with two bolts, so it can be oriented with the holes either inline with the round attachment point or 90 degrees to it, giving this mount lots of versatility. You have to temporarily remove the TPU rubber insert from the one side of the bracket to attach the bar. An allen key of the appropriate size is included.I needed to mount something to attach to a vertical 1.4 inch round computer monitor desk mount. This item worked perfectly for that job.As I didn't want to modify the bar itself I made a flat plate I attached using the M6 and M8 bolt holes so I could attach a base for a tablet mounting arm to a round computer monitor arm upright tube.I suspect that if mounted on a horizontal tube with the bracket mounted vertically that this mount might not work very well on heavier items as the mounting bracket would probably slip and turn on the tube, especially if it was on a moving vehicle being jolted around. This shouldn't be a problem though with lighter items like lights or cameras, or if mounted with the bracket horizontal.This is a mounting solution that can be used in a lot of different applications. I highly recommended for mounting to larger (1.38 to 2.44 inch) tubing.

I misread the description and thought I was getting two. I was going to use them for my light bar on my can am but I decided to use the one to attach my go pro camera (I saw where someone else did that). It is a strong metal mount and was very easy to install. You have the option of several different size of bolts to attach to it. I may order two more for my light bar

This is a high-quality aluminum bracket designed for motorcycle forks. The inside of the bracket is lined with plastic to protect the material from scratches and slipping. It has a great design and looks very good.The only bummer is that I wanted to use it for my fog light, so now I have to order another one. It's a bit odd that the bracket isn't sold in pairs, but oh well!

I'm using these to mount a box over my truck bed on roof rack rails, but when i was tightening them i could tell they were already starting to strip with the stainless steel screws I was using. These should have stainless inserts, I'd pay more if they did, otherwise I'm just gonna have to drill these out and put a nut on the other side, which is disappointing as they are the perfect configuration for what i need
