They work and you get a crap ton of them. The right clamping tool makes them so much easier to use, but these are so small that I I can make them work with just a hammer or a pair of vice grips

Had some wire that I hung a couple of sunshade sails from and used these crimps to make small loops at the ends of the wires and also used one crimp to attach two different pieces of wire cable together. These crimps worked great, and the wire cables didn't move after I tightened the aluminum crimps down. I didn't have a crimping tool for these, so I made a jig and used my vise to push the crimps tight and indent them and that worked out pretty well.
