I ordered this diff case for my husband’s 1/5 Kraton 8S BLX. This will replace either the front or rear diff case and he installed it in the rear. Everything fit well into the diff case. It installed back into the truck without issue. He said it is machined nicely and ran without problems with the upgraded part. There are just a couple of minor issues with it. The stock gear expects countersunk screws (see picture) but this came with button head screws. He just used the stock countersunk screws instead of the screws that came with the diff case. The other issue is the grub screw and diff pin access hole. Normally the access hole is slightly tapered so the grub screw isn’t able to go all the way into the diff case; this one is not like that. He had to put some e6000 on the grub screw to keep it where it needed to be inside the access hole. Overall he is happy with this part and it kept him busy for a couple of hours.

This is a really nice quality upgrade diff case. It was easy to install and works well. It seems pretty sturdy and I have had no problems with the fit or performance.
