Too heavy for my 10" Hi-Tech slant cab grinder so I personally couldn't use it. It's probably fine if you have a grinder with a beefier motor. It seemed like a solid, well machined backing disc though.

This lap dips toward the center which makes it useless for faceting. Will be returning.

The vendor for this item should be receiving a lot of returns as the center hole is not 1/2" as stated in the description. To drill it out is very difficult and I don't recommend trying this, just return it and don't buy it again.
