Do not buy like all upgrades that are not trax's parts. None of the screw holes are matching With the stock parts. This would be okay however Part numbers 7023 the bulk head tie bar does not fit. If this kit were to just come with a set of tie bar it would fix this issue. surprise it doesn't come with it.

I decided to try this for my 3rd 1/16th Revo build, as the front and rear bulkhead set from hot racing is about 150$. This set, at a bargain deal of 45% less, was at first appealing. But there are a few flaws which make me reconsider.I noticed rather quickly while doing a mock up that the bulkheads did not hold together very well without screws. The hot racing ones have a well channeled groove that set together and hold vertical and horizontal pressure with absolutely no hardware installed. These bulkheads will slide around without hardware installed. While that may not mean much to some, to me that means the bulkheads are only as strong as the 2 small screws that hold it together. The second and more significant issue with the front bulkhead in particular is that it moves the steering bellcrank several millimeters towards the rear. This ruins the angle for the servo linkage. If you have a stock traxxas servo this will noticeably affect your steering to one side. It also makes it impossible to mount your front skid plate without drilling a new hole in it, which then leaves a wide open hole for rocks to get in and destroy your front driveshaft.Another minor issue is the threads aren’t all even and some are placed to where the screws will rip into the side of the bulkhead due to sloppy CNC milling and tapping.Overall, they work… with a little work. The price certainly reflects the quality. They are good for someone on a budget that doesn’t need to strongest bulkheads. If you’re a basher or a 3s user I would not recommend these bulkheads. I am almost certain they would fail.
