Running this with my scx10 custom build, it speeds the RC around at about 2 mph using some Meus portals. it works pretty well though for crawling in my setup, fit right onto the skid plate mount and motor mounts right into it.

It has no gear reduction for crawling. It's an ok transmission to get you by for cheap until you can afford something better. Handles 3s brushless power just fine. Solid transmission if you don't want to crawl. Makes my crawler "chug" when attempting to go slow. It's comes with a 9t pinion gear but doesn't have enough room to rock the motor over that far without rubbing on your driveshaft at the output. Overall a decent product.

Got it on a carbon fiber lcg chassis, so far so good, seems fairly smooth and not had any issues yet, not a bad deal for the money

This isn’t a bad trans for the money. It does lower the CoG, and it does place the motor more forward than a 3gear, but I think it’s heavy. I also think it’s kinda noisy. If you’re looking for big performance gains, there are better options, but you’ll pay more for those transmissions. I’m going to play around with lube options to try and get it quieter. If I can get it quiet, I will update my review.

Trans arrived dry. Coated the gears with some 00 grade silicone based grease. Lubed the bearings. Nice quiet smooth trans. I am running it with ar45 portals and an outrunner with the supplied pinion, gearing seems perfect, almost makes me wonder if it would be a little fast with straight axles.

The transmission lacks gear reduction . Even with a 1700 out runner on 3s is impossible to crawl. The top end is 3x faster than you need even for jogging a trail. For a basher it rips.
