Little disappointed in the product. Had to spend about a half hour to hour. Sanding the axle so the 1 inch axle bearings would slide on. Other than that seems to be a solid axle.

I ignored other reviews regarding dimensional accuracy.One star because it's really a steel axle that's 44" long with a 3/4" step down with 3/4"-16 thread pitch... And because you can't go any lower than 1 star.Issues:- one end of the axle is 0.007" oversized. What this means is that you can't slide a bearing or hub all the way through the axle, it'll stop about 3/4 of the way through.- the keyway wasn't machined to the full depth necessary. I measured the depth at anywhere from 0.114 to 0.119. A 1/4" key usually sits 1/8"(0.125”) into the keyway and 1/8" into the keyed accessory. What this means is that a hub or sprocket with a keyway will not fit unless you mill or sand down your key to the proper thickness.

This axle does not have a uniform diameter...one side is larger than the other...please check before shipping
