I was not very impressed with this toy. On the surface it looks fun, but the game itself does not work well. The recording with instructions or options has a foreign accent and is difficult for kids to understand and use. Once you get into the game, it ends very abruptly if you miss a hit. My boys were confused by it and didn’t try to play with it again even though it has been available in their playroom.

The "Kids Toddler Whack Mole Game" is a good quality toy and my toddler loves putting to coins into the coin slots. It's well-made and durable and comes with 2 hammers with plastic handles and rubber ends as well as 2 toy cars my son loves. It takes 3 AA batteries that are not included. The only setup other than installing batteries is is attaching one piece to the top, twisting the coins out of the plastic holder, and, if you prefer for it not to roll, adding on the screw in suction cups to the bottom. There are 2 settings one ask for coins before playing and the other doesnt, which is great incase your child loses all the coins. I only gave 3 stars due to the fact that the game itself doesn't work well at all, first off the cars do not light up when playing whack-a-mole so there is no way to know which one to hit. The second issue is that the other setting continually ask for coins to play, even after inserting the coins and pressing the button to play; it will not register coins have been inserted. If the game did work as intended, the longest it seems to last is 6 seconds before a new game starts. I've already taken the batteries out and we're just using it as a car and to insert coins, my son still loves it that way but I do wish it worked as intended.

Nice toy, my 3 year old loved it and its fun to play with but there are some real problems with it. First of all, it comes with a bunch of small plastic coins. They bring absolutely nothing to the party and are just choking hazards for younger siblings. The coins can be pressed into a slot in the hood of the truck, but are really pointless. It also comes with a bunch of small plastic bolts, some with suction cups on the top. Why? There is no tool for them, and no place to use them on the truck. Again, just filler junk to worry about a child choking on. Then there is what is probably the biggest problem. The toy speaks to the child with instructions, in poorly spoken broken English with a really bad Chinese accent. No idea what its trying to say, just awful. When playing the 'game', it just moves too fast for young child to actually be able to play. As an adult its fast. Not sure what they were thinking. While there are some redeeming parts to this toy, and children will have fun with it, its a nonsensical box of stuff and I think there are better, safer options. I would not recommend.
