This is a MUST BUY for anyone who needs extra help getting into the boat in deeper water. I have struggled to the point where I wouldn’t even jump off the side of the boat to cool off like everyone else was because I knew I would have a difficult time getting back in. Well no longer. I can get back in with ease! I am so happy with what this step has done for me.

This boat telescoping ladder is smaller than what I needed, but it is really well made. It is truly heavy duty ladder and glides very smoothly. I will not be using it where I wanted because it is too small for that, but I hope I will find for it another place where it will be a perfect fit. If the size of it okay for your place then definitely get it because it is a very high quality good looking ladder.

I'm renovating a 1991 Lund boat and decided to try using a real ladder for in water boarding. I'm not as agile as I used to be and the old methods of getting into the boat just aren't safe anymore.I have found this to be a quality build. The ladder ends slide very smoothly in and out. There is a simple bungee cord to hold the ladder extensions in and it seems durable and string enough. They include heavy stainless hardware for wood mounting although your mounting situation may vary so plan accordingly. I am probably going to use bolts and put nuts and washers on the other end but the provided stainless wood screws will come in handy for other boat needs.Overall I like the ladder. I will post an update if installation is difficult or if longevity of the finish is a problem. At this point I recommend this Amarine stainless boat ladder.
